Damn. The final chapter of "Directions" is 18K words, too long for a single post. The last time this happened, I published it in two posts, which is weird because the second half appears on people's flists BEFORE the first half... and posting the halves in the opposite order doesn't have a good flow, either.

And it truly is all one single chapter; it doesn't have the flow or structure to be two separate chapters.

I asked my IJ flist to nominate all the Brian/Justin scenes they thought were the most romantic, and I've compiled almost all of them into this poll so we can select one most romantic scene from each season for a FUN project I'm working on with maybe742 to find THE ultimate most romantic Brian/Justin scene of all time.

I edited the nominees just a bit, as a couple of the scenes weren't really romantic as much as they were sweet or hot (I even disqualified one of my own nominees for that reason, LOL, so it was fair. I swear it!).

You'll note there is no Season One; that's because the Prom scene, starting when Brian arrives and ending at the kiss at the Jeep, was the only nominee from Season One, and thus, it's going to the finals.

So please, vote for your favorites from Seasons Two-Five in the poll below! (It's at IJ but I have it set to let everyone vote; however, if you can't vote, feel free to post your response in the comments here or there and I'll add your votes manually. Only one vote per category.)

Time to get serious about the dates for Xiefest, so people can make their plans, buy their plane tickets, etc!

I was looking for some notes for Families last night and came across a Pulse Point deleted scene. It is the first time paramedic!Justin fucks trauma surgeon!Brian in the ass... and thus obviously will never fit into one of my canon-based series. And trust me... it never will.

So, I'm not sure what to do with it -- post it as a deleted scene? Save it? For what?

Whilst wandering merry as a cloud around the Internets the other day, I came across a website about writing marginally readable fan fiction, by the amusingly named Ms. Nitpicker. Since I totally flatter myself that I write more than marginally readable fan fiction, I of course decided to look at it and then pat myself on the back for already instinctively following all the rules of Really Good Fan Fic Writing.

This is an important poll on Toppy!Justin. I intended to post it on qaf_coffeeclub but I'm stupid lame careless only human and posted it in my InsaneJournal by mistake. Please go there now and answer three important questions on the most critical subject facing our fandom today.

First of all, my icon? Season One. Justin is 17. Bite me, LJ. Then please go bite Showtime's lawyers.

Now, where was I? Oh yes. I'm not going anywhere, even though I've had a small love affair on the side with GreatestJournal for a while now due to its TWO THOUSAND ICON LIMIT.

However, in my whooping cough-induced feverish state wanderings around the Internets, I stumbled across some comments by folks at GreatestJournal indicating they may not want our perversions fandom activities any more than LiveJournal seems to.

InsaneJournal, however, does. They asked for us, and, unlike GreatestJournal which is eliminating features and doesn't even have a paid account structure available, are actually adding and upgrading features right now -- in fact, they just upped their friends list limit from 100 friends to a max of 1500 friends in the last 24 hours, in response to fandom influx.

Permanent accounts cost $40, and for an extra ten bucks, you can increase your icon limit to FIVE HUNDRED.

So I plunked down the $50 and created an InsaneJournal with 500 icons, not because I'm moving -- I'm not -- but because I wanted to support their efforts and, of course, just in case the Brian/Justin fandom does decide to migrate somewhere, maybe it will be there. Feel free to come play, friend me, ignore the existence of InsaneJournal, whatever you want.
