A Brief Observation on Justin's Hands

I'm finishing up an assignment that's due in less then one hour, but I need to take a brief break before doing a final proof of it or my head will explode. So I glanced over at my beloved wife happier_bunny's post on qaf_coffeeclub about the important licking theme in Queer as Folk.

Hey, it's MEDIA ANALYSIS!

And so I, thinking it might stop all flow of blood to clear my head, watched one of the scenes indicated as being a good example of this theme, hotel!sex. And in addition to the important thematic licking, I was reminded of something else.

I spend hours and hours working hard to get all the nuances of my characters right when I write fan fiction. I agonize over it. I may fail, I may succeed, but I really try. I care. I do research, and not all of it as pleasant as watching hotel!sex over and over.

So let this serve as notice to all Brian/Justin fan fic writers: Justin does not have "small hands." Stop saying he has small hands. Stop mentioning his small hands in your stories and sex scenes. In addition to being a little creepy, It's Not. True.

Justin has really big hands. Go watch hotel!sex. Force yourself. Justin puts his hands on Brian's waist while he's licking him (there's that important thematic thing again), and they are large. They really are.

I know what the problem is. These writers in question have only ever had the privilege of looking at really low-res clips on YouTube or illegal downloads of such teeny size (obviously tiny-Justin-hand size) where the quality is virtually unwatchable eg you can't discern the eyes or any other distinguishing features such as cocksocks. So, you see, it's not really their fault; they're jus' po' folk who couldn't afford to get Showtime or rent or buy the DVDs. And obviously they could/can only afford dial-up which is why they would have never been able to see my hair/eye/hand/cock/pimple/mole studies properly either. So don't be too hard on them :b
