Scariest. Place. Ever.  
I was sort of confused as to why people were badmouthing bjfic.net because I'd been there and I liked it... it's very orderly and I like the way you can navigate and search for stories. I was bewildered at the hostility.

So tonight  [profile] jane2005 posted her story Negation over there, and [personal profile] vamphile had posted a new chapter in Keeping it Together, so instead of following a direct link to a story as I always have before, I went to the main page and looked at the new stories. And oh god help me please get me brain bleach because I had no idea the horrors I've been spared until now by ONLY reading recommended fiction.

And I thought CowLip were bad, evil, disgusting hacks. I had NO IDEA how bad it could really get.

HA!!!!! That is definitely territory you want to explore with a friend. Way to scary to ramble alone.... ;-) Actually, there are quite a number of good writers who archive over there but unfortunately they are outnumbered by the hacks.

I cruised that site quite a bit at first, til I found Plum on lj, and from there...here I am! It's kinda scary there. Some great, some okay, some...run and hide.
