So basically, I'm just here to tell you that I reread PLANS today, and that it's so wonderful and oh so beautifully written. I especially love that they're all at the house. Yes, Lindsay's annoying, but Mel sooo makes up for that ;) The scene with B/J and JR on the sofa still killed me ... and the best thing, I haven't quite finished it this time so there's a real treat waiting for me before I go to bed.

I was lying in bed last night, having slept all day so not being very sleepy, thinking about the sequel to Plans and what the fuck I'd do AFTER that... that I might have to come up with some entirely original plot elements. And I immediately understood why people who write future fic throw the boys down the well, because number one, it's instant plot, and number two, fuck, I admit it... it lets you do all the things we love with the boys, to support each other and struggle and grow and try to work things out, and love each other. It's sexy and sweet and it's PLOT. And god knows it's canon, CowLip through them both down wells all the time.

So I'm not saying I won't ever throw either Brian or Justin down the well. I'm sure I will. But not just yet.

cowlip actually threw brian down wells as often as justin...unlike fanfic which has a tendancy to throw justin down them and forget that he's really really good at climbing out of them on his own.

and i'm not pretending to be supirior, i'm relly not...i throw them down lots of wells but i just don't buy justin putting up with abuse and um...i hate writing hospital fics... which is why justin got out so quickly...

But yeah, well, of all the people on earth who know how I love my protective!Brian and Justin in the well... you're the one who knows it best. ;)

because we both suffer from a terrible disease... fanfic authordom... and bad!ficitis... when combined it gives you an irrational love of justin in a well and protective!brian...it also gives you a serious phobia about writing such things.

i get the demons out by writing one offs where justin's in a bit of a well (battlescars) or trying to make the well realistic...(everything else i've ever written that wasn't PWP)

and then there's the other cure... dominating!brian/littleboy!justin sex. then you can do that whole dyanmic...get the hot sex in and move on to a story where they're both snarky and strong.

as for taking my brain out and giving it a big wet kiss and a hot fudge sundae...next time i have a migraine... i'll take you up on that... soaking my brain in icecream sounds blissful when my own pet brain tumor acts up.
