Fixing It, by Xie...
I wrote this story for the "'Tis the Season" prompt at [info]qaf_drabbles. I posted it there in installments, but wanted to post the entire thing in one place as well.

Consider it a full length story about an unhappy holiday season, told in 58 chapters of 100 words each.

Title: Fixing It

Fixing It
This was sad and yet beautiful. Brian and Justin have grown so close and (shudder) adult in their relationship. As usual, you have the voices of the "family" down so well. Anyone who has lost a parent understands how alone it makes a person feel. Lucky for Justin so many non relatives are in his circle. As a friend of mine says, "often the closest family isn't joined by blood."

Re: Fixing It
Thanks... I agree, they've grown up a lot in my post-513 imagination. I don't have a single fixed idea about WHAT they do, but I like to think of them as making their lives, individually and together, work.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story!
