What's wrong with the world...  
Whilst shopping for shoes, I saw this cross-body handbag.

I want it bad.

I cannot have it. It costs $250 and that is just too much for a bag I have almost no use for other than it might keep me from dying of thwarted longing.

Yet I whimper.

Let's see. She gets $10/week allowance, that's $40/month x 7 months (aug-feb)= $280 (to allow for tax and S/H).

At that rate, if you come back to Austin for SXSW next March, then you can absolutely borrow the bag.

That is, if you can keep her from spending her money on books, CD's, anime, manga and playing cards. And convince a diehard tomboy that she even NEEDS a pretty body bag. Especially one with flowers. Now, if you wanted one with Naruto on it, she'd buy it, but no way would she share it ;D
