Pets are like our children. It's normal and appropriate to worry. I'd be more concerned if you were casual about the whole situation.

We have a kitty with a chronic intestinal disorder that was mimicking feline leukemia (fatal) about 1 1/2 years ago. My LJ friends were so supportive and understanding...and several were able to diagnose Lucky from his symptoms.

LJ Land can be such a wonderful & loving place.
