I wasn't sure where you would take B/J from the end of the previous chapter to the completion of this segment of the series but I think your opening was very powerful.

The growth experienced by both Brian and Justin is significant and that comes across in this chapter. It seems that every once in a while Justin needs to review "the Kinney Operating Manual" and Brian needs to realize that snark and the old method of pain management are not always the way--especially with those who know it's just a cover.

When B/J are making love in this chapter I felt it was so meaningful each time. The purpose was different with each occurence and built on the story, enhanced it and elevated the joy & growth of their relationship.

The development of rocky start to calm understanding was evident and resembled the way most married couples progress during their first year of marriage. A wedding ring doesn't make life suddenly easier. If anything it adds a variety of complications as two people make the commitment to face a permanent future together.

The small touches throughout the chapter brought both humor, additional love and friendship throughout the chapter. I was moved by Ted's response to Brian's ring and how he was avoiding it's emotional value and I laughed at Jennifer's response to Justin.

The art show and all the aspects and interactions around it were beautifully illustrated. B/J's final bedroom discussion was perfect and totally IC for these two.

Now I have to look forward to the next step in this series...and I can't wait.

RISKS IS A FABULOUS SEGMENT IN THIS B/J UNIVERSE...I LOVE IT!!!
