This lovely little story speaks so softly yet so powerfully of the trauma Justin has not yet recovered from, and the helplessness Brian feels, as anyone does when their loved one is in pain. The fact that it's Christmas, wintry and frosty, just adds to the poignancy. How many more nights will Brian pace the floor whilst Justin tosses around the bed, haunted by his nightmares?
