To those of you who recommended certain writers to me that you thought I'd like, you're horrible people. Do none of you have JOBS? Lives? Dogs to walk, lawns to cut, toenails to polish, meals to cook?

Last night I took my frigging LAPTOP TO BED WITH ME for some bedtime reading, because I'd used up all the ink in my printer the night before.

And then I'm reading some little snippet somewhere or other by my new goddess, plumsuede, and discover this in the intro to the story:

Author's notes: I guess I don't have any. I would give an angst warning, but I just spent two hours of my life watching Bush give his unconvincing, bullshit speech which was followed by an hour long town meeting of the most frightening citizens this country had to offer. THAT'S angst. This is just fic. If I was god, I wouldn't bless America. I'd get the FUCK out. /sorry.

What the hell do you do with a fandom that not only has a great sense of humor but practically perfect POLITICS in its freaking PORN, too? You guys are nuts. I'm really loving this. But I hope this fever passes soon cuz I have things to do and people depending on me.

Now please excuse me. I have some important reading to do and I think the battery on my laptop is recharged.
