It’s pretty nifty to know that this is so aligned with both QAF canon and Xena canon.

The similarities really are astonishing. I swear it. I'm somewhat playing them DOWN because I'm starting with a slightly older Gabrielle. If you continue with the story and see flashbacks to her teenaged self, or if you watched the show, you'd just not believe it.

Xena focuses on Gus. Love it.

Xena is, like Brian, really wonderful with children.
