To italicize something, it's simple.

Copy and paste what you want to quote.

Put your cursor at the beginning of each section on which you want to comment. Type this symbol:

Then type the letter "i" by itself

Then type this symbol:

>

That will create the HTML code for "open italics."

Put your cursor at the end of the section on which you want to comment. Type this symbol:

<

Type a backwards slash:

/

type the letter "i" again

Then type this symbol:

>

That is HTML for "close italics."
