Dear Harry Potter fans,

Tonight, I was working with my youngest Greyhound, Stella, on some of her obedience commands. I am trying to get her reliable enough to take her on off-leash walks in the woods as I can do with my other dogs.

She loves sticks, so I use them as the "lure" to get her to come, or the reward to get her to obey a command. I was holding a stick and reminding her to "stay," when I got the idea of, instead of saying "come," saying "Accio Stella!"

Of course she came flying over and grabbed the wand stick out of my hand, and what I then taught her was, instead of the command my other dogs know, "Give," "Expelliarmus!"

So now I enjoy dog training.
