So, as I mentioned before, I finally -- after years of trying and just not getting drawn in -- read the Harry Potter books. I've now also watched the movies.

I'm curious: Can you guess who my favorite character is? By which I mean, the one I find most intriguing, not the one I think I'd like the most in "real life," or what passes for "real life" when you're talking about  fantasy series, LOL.

Bonus points if you can guess what moment in the films made me cry -- there was only one.

And since I'm only a decade or so behind, indulge me and tell me YOUR favorite character and what moment(s), if any, made you cry, in the books or the films.
