The 37 Days of Gusmas fundraiser for The Trevor Project starts tomorrow!
Just a note to say that I'll be posting all the prompts for the "37 Days of Gusmas" drabble challenge in support of The Trevor Project this evening! Thanks to all who helped and pledged, and I hope to see some drabble-mania over the holiday season!

Love,

Xie

Free! I'm free!
Wow, amazing... it's only 3:41 PM here and I'm done for the day, with a four day weekend in front of me. I could just cry I'm so happy!

I'm going to take a little break, then will come back and put my "37 Days of Gusmas" post together. I'm so excited about seeing how much money we can raise for The Trevor Project... I squee and use my Kurt icon, because his arc on Glee right now is all about being bullied, and it's pretty awesome.... even though the bullying arc on QAF was better.

I seem to love the fierce proud gay teenage boys, don't I? Although my feelings for Kurt are entirely maternal. I think it would make me throw up a little to watch him having sex. Then again, I always watched high school!Justin with a tinge of discomfort, and was super-happy when he grew up, LOL.

Okay, where was I? Oh yeah... a break from my computer! See ya soon!

The 37 Days of Gusmas, for The Trevor Project
In the spirit of the Gusmas Season, the Queer as Folk fandom is holding a "37 Days of Gusmas" Drabble-athon to raise money for the The Trevor Project, an organization that runs a free, 24-hour hotline to help queer and questioning youth and bring an end to the epidemic of bullying and youth suicide plaguing the LGBT community. It is the organization that the "It Gets Better" campaign was organized to refer teens to for help.

With the help, support, and pledges of many fandom members on both LiveJournal and InsaneJournal, there are multiple ways to earn donations to this great cause.

The drabble-athon begins today, Thanksgiving Day, and runs until New Year's Day. You can post at any time throughout the challenge, and you can post on the drabble community at IJ, or, if you prefer, paste your drabble(s) in the comments section here, or email it/them to me at xie.kay at gmail dot com, and I'll post it for you. Just be sure to use the format given in the rules. :)

All the details are here... and Happy Gusmas!
