In the spirit of the Gusmas Season, the Queer as Folk fandom is holding a "37 Days of Gusmas" Drabble-athon to raise money for the
The Trevor Project, an organization that runs a free, 24-hour hotline to help queer and questioning youth and bring an end to the epidemic of bullying and youth suicide plaguing the LGBT community. It is the organization that the "
It Gets Better" campaign was organized to refer teens to for help.
With the help, support, and pledges of many fandom members on both LiveJournal and InsaneJournal, there are multiple ways to earn donations to this great cause.
The drabble-athon begins today, Thanksgiving Day, and runs until New Year's Day. You can post at any time throughout the challenge, and you can post on the drabble community at IJ, or, if you prefer, paste your drabble(s) in the comments section here, or email it/them to me at xie.kay at gmail dot com, and I'll post it for you. Just be sure to use the format given in the rules. :)
All the details are
here... and Happy Gusmas!
