It doesn't happen often, but my computer froze up on me last night and I had to shut it down the bad way.

When I get comments on non-current fic, I leave the email open until I've replied. On current fic I go and check and make sure there is a reply, but when people leave comments on my older stories -- which I love getting, by the way -- that's the system I created so I don't miss them.

Well, I had like... I don't know, maybe 20 emails open that I meant to catch up on this weekend, and they're all closed now, and I have no way of finding them again other than going back through all my fics looking for orphan comments, which will take kind of a while.

So if you recently commented on a fic of mine and it's not the current chapter of "Beliefs," please accept my apologies for not replying and yes, I'm considering a different system -- I may need to get vamphile on the case; she reorganized my entire billing system and got me to start using this three month at a glance whiteboard wall calendar, maybe she can help me solve the mail thing too.

Now, back to the Emmett Appreciation Weekend festivities... *smooches you all*
