Okay, there are not that many of us, but the fact that there are ANY of us is some kind of strange mindfuck.
When I first got hit between the ... let's just call it eyes... with the hotness and love that is Brian and Justin on Queer as Folk, I thought I was a freak. I was absolutely sure I was the only and I do mean ONLY lesbian in the history of the universe to feel that way.
I later found out that I wasn't alone. Therewas one other were two three four five several dozen others. And we banded together like lost queer fangirls in the dark, not sure why we weren't out there fangirling Willow and Tara or Ashley and Spencer like all the normal lesbians. No, here we were, burning out our vibrators and our DVD players over two gay boys.
The hottest and most romantical gay boys in the history of ever, but still.
Now, I'm totally over it. I embrace my lesbianic love of Brian and Justin. I roll around in it naked. I give up.
And late one night,
not_yet_defined and I were talking about being lesbians obsessed with B/J, and I went and made a community about it and she made a bunch of icons and fuck, we don't know if anyone will join us there and what we'll do with it, but if nothing else we'll keep it as a shrine to the strange and beautiful lesbian love of Brian and Justin.
The asylum is open to everyone, by the way. We don't discriminate on the basis of, well... anything, as long as you feel slightly faint at the beauty and hotness of Brian and Justin and might want to talk about it. You don't have to join to post, though, so if you prefer to just watch it or drop by now and then, that's fine too.
Think about it as a big shiny dyke dance club with a hot but intimidating bouncer and nothing on the sound system except the Queer as Folk soundtrack, and an endless loop of Brian and Justin's sex and kissing scenes playing on its video screens.

And we have ICONS!
PS: For those who want to watch from LJ, the community is open and you don't have to have an IJ to post or read. You can add it to your LiveJournal friends list here. I have edited the feed so it will give only a simple summary and link, and you won't get a bunch of code and graphics. :)
