Brain Cells
"Writing is easy. All you do is stare at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead." -Gene Fowler

I always used to say, you use a different part of your brain to write fiction than non-fiction.

I said that because non-fiction comes easily to me, fiction has always been harder. Which is why I basically never write it.

But I now know I was wrong. It's the same part of your brain. I know this because I can't seem to write anything else right now, because I'm working on this fiction thing about these guys, Brian and Justin, you might have heard of them?

I mean, I forced myself to finish an article on the Tony Awards for work, but this journal, in which I've pretty much posted something every day for a long time now? Not so much. Likewise my blog and anything that I'm not actually being forced by threat of lack of income to write.
