Yeah, guh, Marianne. *gnaws on knuckles til they bleed*
I don't want to read about hetero sex...and I know that's weird
Seems totally normal to me. Hetero sex is just not erotic to me. The mind is strange.
I'm going to reread to look for your secret kink, as soon as I finish my analysis of Plum's BYBR and all it's secrets. ;)
LOL, well, we'll see if you can find it there in the toppy!Justin scene. I think you could if you really looked. But if you can't, I'll tell you what it is. I tell you all my kinks.
I don't want you to think it didn't work for me. I loved the story and can't wait for more. I just hate it when people try to put all the blame on Justin and his actions and not have him entitled to some growth. However, I don't think you're doing that here....you're just taking the growth in a different direction and I think it's going to be really fascinating to see where that path will take him...and Brian. ;)
I have to stop myself from talking too much about this, because the reason it's worked so far is that I haven't relegated this to the analytical part of my brain. The Justin who lives in my mind is a grown up. He's in love with a difficult person. He has also got the burden of a huge talent. He's still young. I think there's lots you can do with that without making him deal with cockroaches and the New York City housing and job markets. I'm just saying.
And it's not like he lives in Anchorage. He lives a 45 minute flight from NYC and has a rich partner. Why make it a drama when it doesn't have to be? I'd rather have real drama based on human stuff, than contrived drama based on geography or some other manipulated plot element. In other words, I'm not CowLip.
And now I TRULY have to shut up because I just came very close to quoting a scene from the sequel!
Is absolutely the truth and that's why I'm excited to see how that unfolds in your sequel(s) lol. I sense that there's a deepness to your writing that I haven't grasped completely.
There are a few things in there but I believe the story works without figuring them out. If it doesn't, I fucked up.
