You managed to do something CowLip never cared to do (and I say cared because I think those two old trolls just despise women in general and didn't spend any meaningful effort in making Mel or Linds what they could have been) - make Mel a layered person.

I didn't set out consciously to redeem Melanie. But I can't tell you how happy I am when people say I did.
