I loved ths story, you know it: the snark, the irony, the unabashed romance, the use of Mel's and Justin's POV, the structure that moved between pat and present, etc. But what really makes it special for me, is the fact that you never let it become an act of revenge against any of the characters that were most mistreated by CL. You gave us hope that the queer family B/J belong to can be at peace, or at least work on it. Yes, queers care for each other and no, lesbians and gay men are not constantly at war, even if they disagree and fuck up royally. Mistakes can be fixed and you fixed quite a few of them brilliantly.
