As I said before, I've been rereading Plans-Decisions-Desires. I am gobsmacked all over again by how brilliant the empty e-mails are.
First of all, the fact that Justin comes up with such a great idea goes a long way to making him a worthy opponent/lover of Brian. Brian needs to be matched with someone who is smart enough and insightful enough to hold up his end of the relationship. When you have Justin hit the Send key, you've established that.
The e-mails are the perfect way for Justin to keep in contact with Brian without sending him into a tizzy...and the tizzy, too, is absolutely in character. Most astoudingly, this gambit is entirely original...not so easy to do when sometimes I think someone, somewhere, has rung every possible change on the B/J affair.
Thank you again for the hours of enjoyment your fics have given me. I am such an escapist, it isn't even funny. FanSee
