Confessions of a professional fangirl

Dearest flist,

I know you are all very busy now watching new TV shows. I am not ignoring your posts about Dr. Who Meets Dexter at the Bionic Lost House of Heroes because I do not love you. It's just that I have no shows that I watch. There is really nothing I'm looking forward to watching. I have no idea what's on. I don't even know how to find the channels on my TV set, all I know how to do is use my DVD player and watch HGTV.

If I have to write about a TV show for my job, I have to download it and watch it all at once on my computer.

If you want me, I'll be over in the corner, making fire with two sticks.

Love,

Xie

Heh. I'm with you. I don't even have cable. I might tune into Grey's Anatomy on Thursday, but it kinda sucked last season so I'm not even excited about that. I'll probably be reading fanfic while it's on in the background. :-D

I've never watched Grey's Anatomy, but what I did was I used to read a medical students' blog in which all they did was come on each week and laugh and mock all the medical mistakes on it. I would never be able to watch that now, having read that blog.

The internets have ruined me. ;)

Oh man, I'm not surprised by that at all...I know less than nothing about medicine, but even I raise my eyebrows at some of the crap they spout on that show. I certainly don't watch it for medical realism. :-P
