Last night I was suddenly struck with the desire to have icons of Emma Peel from the Avengers, played by the luminous Diana Rigg.

gmta_nz   says Emma Peel made her a lesbian. I'm not absolutely sure I can give Mrs. Peel all the credit for that in my case, but she definitely influenced my sense of style and identity, and gave me my first personal icon of glamor and power in combination, let my inner femme realize yes, you can kick ass in high heels and no, women don't have to cast down their eyes and defer to men in order to get ahead in life -- as long, that is, as you wear a rubber catsuit and know how to use small firearms. Oh, Emma.

So I posted a whistful midnight request for Emma Peel icons over on my IJ, and fangirls in other, less-sleeping parts of the world, responded in the way of fangirls everywhere, and granted my wish:
